All these drunk driving laws are out of hand. What ever happened to Freedom™?

If I want to get plastered and get behind the wheel of a car that's muh God given right as an American. Sure I might accidentally run over a few hobos or whatever but that's the risk they agree to take when going out in public.

Besides, 300k Americans die from obesity every year and we don't shut down McDonalds. So what’s the big deal with vehicular manslaughter?
